My Favorite Natural Products to Use on Dark Spots

Natural products I use at night to help brighten and lighten spots:

● Before bed, wash your face and apply a good amount of honey and half the amount of lemon juice and then let it soak into the skin. You can do this one or two times a week! Let me know if you try this because I want to hear how it works for you. Maybe we can start another trend? Just kidding. With that said, always be careful with lemon juice on your skin as it might irritate it when used too frequently even though honey is amazing for our skin! Make sure to moisturize afterwards!

– Honey is my favorite natural ingredient that helps lighten dark spots naturally. It also has anti-aging properties which are awesome.

● In the morning, I use Vitamin C serum. My favorite is called Vichy’s Liftactiv Supreme! It really helps brighten skin and vitamin c reduces sun damage which causes dark spots. Apply this before your moisturizer! You can also apply it at night time after you do the honey and lemon juice method. Just make sure to protect your skin with a sunscreen if you’re going outside! It’s a must! Some people say that lemon juice makes their skin lighter faster but I haven’t seen that effect yet – maybe because my skin is already very light?

● On days where I don’t wear makeup or when I go to sleep, I prefer using Lancôme’s Génifique, an anti-aging, anti-dark spot product. It’s incredible!

● I also really like to use Murad’s Hydro-Dynamic Quenching Essence. It helps brighten the skin even though it is an essence for hydration! You can get all of these products on Amazon or at your local Sephora. I can’t wait to hear how these products work for you!

● I also use a Vitamin E oil that helps brighten my skin. You can get this at any beauty store or if not, you can get it on Amazon!

● At night time, I rub the vitamin E oil all over my face and then let it soak into the skin. If your skin is oily like mine, you might want to put some powder on top of it before bed! As for days where I don’t plan on wearing makeup, I would probably go with Lancôme Génifique at night (or day!)
